Is it appropriate for one year for adults over 18 years (the last years of school) to travel to Thailand for two weeks? This means staying alone abroad.
I was in Thailand with my mother recently (8 months) and the desire to own again. I chose Thailand because of its culture, affordability, and previous experience.

It is as appropriate as the travel world. Thailand is a beautiful and safe. If you travel from two weeks at home, then there is no reason to not be able to do in Thailand. The application of common sense and have a normal holiday of a lifetime.
During a visit to the remote site can be at your own risk. If, however, only go to the big city like Bangkok, should be good. I'm not Thai, but went once or twice a year, so far no problem.
However, if you go to Phuket, it was raining now, please reconsider.
